Green Limozeen!!

The Times Online has an interesting piece about the limousine being built for President Obama. It'd be nice if it was a hybrid of some sort, but a few other factors need to be taken into consideration as well:

"The armour-plated car... has a raised roof, windows up to 5in thick, extra-strength tyres and a body made of steel, aluminium, titanium and ceramics...the car is built to survive roadside bombs as well as gunfire."

Clearly the right-wing blogs will understand the need to secure the President's safety and forgive the fact that the car will likely get less than 10 MPG. Ohhh. Wait. I wasn't serious.

Maybe these guys need a quick refresher course on why Obama might - just might - need a bit more protection than the typical president.

In fairness, I guess I should give the righties a little credit. They didn't make any references to Obama wanting to add spinning hubcaps to the tires, or messing with the hydraulics to bounce the limo up and down. That would have been expected.
