Drinking Liberally District 2 will be meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at The Hyde Park Tavern, 3384 Erie Ave at 7:30PM. We'll be upstairs in the pool room: Go inside, up the staircase just past the hostess and turn right. Look around for the Drinking Liberally table tents.

Eating Liberally is coming up on Wednesday, May 20 at Bootsy's. We'll keep you updated! Reply if you're interested.
We had a great time with DL NKY at Star Trek on Thursday and Rollergirls and Grammer's on Saturday. The next Rollergirls match is on May 30, but we haven't yet put it on the calendar because of a potential conflict with our Fringe Festival activity. We'll keep you updated on both.
This week we saw
- What happens when all the good superhero names are taken.
- Conservatives: when your actual positions are presented as the focus of parody, the rational thing is to not insist it's serious.
- Then again, there's always room on the failure bus for one more.
- Ignorance of probability is not evidence of efficacy of prayer.
- No meaning here. Move along. It's just that tragedy begets tragedy.
Coming Soon:

- We'll be doing an DL outing to the Cincinnati Fringe Festival. We'll keep you updated; watch the calendar!
- Our Cincinnati Rollergirls outing on Saturday went pretty well. We'd may make this a regular event. Hold May 30 and June 20 for other Rollergirls outings!
- Add our Google calendar to your calendar! Use XML, iCal or a web browser to keep in sync with Drinking Liberally Cincinnati!

The Hyde Park Tavern has good parking, an excellent drink selection, a unique and delicious "gourmet bar food" menu, and friendly, efficient staff.
The 69 bus stops a short walk away at Marburg and Erie, just past The Coffee Emporium. The 51 bus stops just north of Victoria Ave and Paxton Ave, a pleasant three-quarter mile walk or bike ride away, straight east down Victoria Ave to Erie.
