Geek writers on parade

Lost in this piece from the University of Chicago's website about 538.com kingpin Nate Silver is this little tidbit about his future prospects.

Silver has traveled the country and fielded book offers from the top 10 publishing houses, but he is still dedicated to his website...[he] talks in tangents about the future and what topics his book may explore, including hurricane prediction, movies, fashion trends, and breaches in national security.
Given his track record with the 2008 election predictions, as well as his work on developing one of the most accurate baseball statistics projection methods around, I'd say you could pretty much bet on whatever is contained in his book as being a pretty solid bet. And if/when his book tour comes to Cincinnati, DL will be in the bidding to sponsor the event.
