Jon Favreau named director of speechwriting

No, not this Jon Favreau. But, a 27 year old Holy Cross graduate with the same name has been tapped to be the director of speechwriting for the Obama administration.

This Favreau has worked for the Kerry administration, and then later with an actual successful campaign this year. Though Obama is always thought to handwrite his own speeches, in fact he gives input to Favreau and his staff, who then craft the message.

Now, if Obama's acceptance speech includes a reference to how watching Wayne Gretzky bleed on NHL 93 is one of the coolest video game experiences ever...I'll be a bit suspicious.
