DL District One - 6/3/08 - Fries Cafe

I think it's an understatement to say that the Cincinnati/Dayton/Newport 5th Anniversary Party was an unbelievable success that exceeded our loftiest expectations. While we didn't get an official headcount, we believe over 100 of you came out to celebrate five years if Drinking Liberally. Everyone's support was overwhelming, and on behalf of Cari Kimmel from DL Dayton, and Jason Bailey and Antonio Mazzaro from DL Newport, we can't thank you enough for your support of this event.

This week we go back to our normal schedule of events, which means this Tuesday we'll be back at Fries Cafe, on 3247 Jefferson Avenue in Clifton. We'll start at 7:30, and go until the last of us leaves. For our food venture this week, we'll be ordering from Dewey's Pizza, who has some of the best upscale/gourmet style pizzas in Cincinnati, and is very vegetarian friendly. We'll order at 7:45, so if you're interested in grabbing some food, come early and we'll decide what to get. Also, we have some leftover souvenir bottles from the anniversary event to give away to those who are interested.

We hope to see you out Tuesday at Fries. Also, be on the lookout for an annoucement later this week of another special DL event for the end of this month. And be sure to check out the DL Cinci blog (dlcinci.blogspot.com) for discussions on local politics and other irrevent writings.
