The union is safe now

A few days late on this, but it's good to see that the California initiative to distribute electoral votes by district won't even see the ballot. This was bad policy all around; no matter whether it was California, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, wherever, no one state should be doing business differently from the rest of the country. It's bad form.

I'll continue to ask: why don't we just have a popular vote for the presidential election? It's getting silly how the entire election comes down to 8-10 states. I say make 'em court the votes in Wyoming and Washington (and Alaska, but only because I want to see Rudy stuffed into an oversized parka while ice-fishing)!
