This time it's for real

That's right. In the past, when Bush demanded progress from Iraq, he was just kidding. But, this time Dubya is serious: he wants to see real progress, not the fake stuff they sell at the store.

Bush said the bill thrashed out in compromise talks between Congress and the White House "reflects a consensus that the Iraqi government needs to show real progress in return for America's continued support and sacrifice."

And if Iraq doesn't show real progress this time, whatever the hell that means, I suppose he's going to demand really real progress the next time.
