Libby sentencing: A humble proposal

Per Think Progress, Fitz is recommeding 2-3 years for Libby. This sentencing recommendation reeks of a pre-9/11 mind-set. These artificial timelines for letting him out of prison do great harm to our troops on the ground and the global war on terror.

I propose Libby be sentenced to prison for the duration of the war in Iraq. The moment we declare victory and get out of Iraq, Libby should be released from prison. Seems fair, no?
