I realize that he's the former governor of Bill Clinton's home state, and I realize that he has a vested interest in getting the below statement out there, but it's refreshing to hear a republican speak in somewhat rational terms about politics:
"If Republicans in this election vote in such a way as to say a candidate’s personal life and personal conduct in office doesn’t matter,” presidential candidate Mike Huckabee declared, “then a lot of Christian evangelical leaders owe Bill Clinton a public apology."
Huckabee not only speaks intelligently on this topic, but is also a strong proponent of reforming our healthcare system to focus on preventative care. Sadly, it's talk like this that makes me 100% sure that he has no chance of winning the republican nomination. You need to be way more crazy to get that.
