Workin' For The Weekend - What Where You Thinking?

Everyone's had one of those moments where you just look at someone and say, what the hell were you thinking? So today's topic is designed to get you going and letting out what poor decisions someone else made that deep down gave you a chuckle (call it schaudenfreude catharsis). These can be either personal or ones that others have committed.

In the annals of time, in my mind there's only one contender for the top spot: Shelley Long leaving Cheers. Everything else is playing for second. But I'll throw a couple more out there:

• Grady Little inexplicably leaving Pedro Martinez out there an inning too long in Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS, costing the Red Sox a shot at the World Series
