My right to have a different opinion

Been thinking a lot about my rights recently.

I recently found some cases from the 1940s, where
even the Supreme Court had to reverse itself within
a few years, over a case involving saluting the flag.

The court held that the state cannot compel individuals
to action in the interests of 'national unity'.
Read the decision, it proves we can keep our civil liberties
even in a time of war.


The issues were Free Speech and Free Exercise of Religion.
