South Dakota: Good News--and Bad

Good news: the abortion ban in South Dakota will be put on the state ballot in November, thanks to over 38,000 people who signed petitions.

Bad news: the Oglala Sioux tribal council in SD voted to ban all abortions on the reservation and has called for the suspension of Cecilia Fire Thunder, who vowed to keep a clinic open on the reservation if the state law was passed.
