Tribe To Challenge State

The Ogala Sioux Tribe in South Dakota will challenge the state's ban on abortion. See story here. Cecilia Fire Thunder, the President of the Ogala Sioux tribe says that the state's ban on abortion is wrong. Cecilia Fire Thunder was a nurse and a care worker for rape trauma victims.

Fire Thunder says:

''I have very strong opinions of what happened. These are a bunch of white guys determining what a woman should do with her body,''

''When a woman is raped and becomes pregnant she does not have the choice of aborting. How many men at the state house have ever been raped?''
