Fear!!!

Right wingers' fear of everything is what fuels them. They are bellicose and macho, but we know that when it counts, they cower in the corner. CW says that Republicans are strong on defense. Why? Because they send other peoples' children to die in their wars? That is not bravery. It is much closer to cowardice. All they can do is shout. It is a classic defense mechanism.

This diary by kevin k is a great read. I strongly urge you to read it and let us know what you think. I think it is time that progressives start calling conservatives out on their fear. Maybe some will respond to being called wimps. I don't know if it would have the desired result, and maybe it would backfire. But, if we can portray the Limbaughs and Hannitys of the world as what they truly are, wusses afraid of everything, perhaps we can change the political dialogue.

Anyway, just my rant for the weekend.
