Today the Supreme Court ruled that the organized military commissions at Guantánamo Bay violated military law and provisions of the Geneva Conventions.
In my opinion, there is no reason why these suspects shouldn't receive the same due process as any other criminal. It worked in trying the terrorists involved in the World Trade Center bombing in 1993 and it worked in convicting Timothy McVeigh for the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.
This is just another example of the administration trying to overreach their authority.
