Three events this coming week: DL is moving to Grammer's for one night next Tuesday, BikeFlix later that same night at Grammer's, and the Rollergirls outing on May 29.
This Tuesday, May 25, Drinking Liberally is continuing our celebration of Bike Month in Cincinnati by switching locations to Grammer's Bar, 1440 Walnut Street, at the corner of Liberty and Walnut. (Enter from Liberty.) Weather permitting, we'll be outside on the urban-style back patio. Grammer's Bar is also dog-friendly...feel free to bring your well-behaved pooch!
To kick things off at 7:30, we'll have Cafe de Wheels on site. Cafe de Wheels is Cincinnati's original burger truck, serving delicious burgers, fries, Cuban sandwiches, including the new Tower of Power burger.
At 9PM, you can stay to watch the BikeFlix movie of the week: Il Postino. You can get details on the Bike Flix Facebook Page.
Is this starting to sound like the perfect date night? Think of it: you, your significant other, and your other, canine, significant other, enjoying delicious burgers from Cafe de Wheels and great beer from Grammer's, watching one of the most romantic (bike-related) movies of all time under the clear spring night sky of Cincinnati?
Come join us for at least part of the night!
On Saturday, May 29, we'll be doing a group purchase of tickets for Rollergirls. Unfortunately, the Rollergirls has a new requirement of a minimum of 20 tickets to get the $8 price, so we have to charge $10 per ticket plus the usual small PayPal fee. If we get enough attendees, I'll refund two dollars to you at the Gardens, so you can buy two $1 PBRs right away. Please buy your tickets by noon, Friday, May 28.
