Hi, just wanted to send out a reminder that starting this Tuesday, March 24, 2009, DLD2 will be meeting at The Hyde Park Tavern, 3384 Erie Ave. Remember that Tuesday is half-priced bottle of wine night!
If the weather Tuesday cooperates, we will be out on the patio. In that case, we'd like to get a headcount to give Mary Ann, the manager, so on our Monday mailing, we'll be asking for RSVPs.
We're very excited about the move. The Hyde Park Tavern has good parking, an excellent drink selection, a unique and delicious "gourmet bar food" menu, and friendly, efficient staff.
The 69 bus stops a short walk away at Marburg and Erie, just past The Coffee Emporium. The 51 bus stops just north of Victoria Ave and Paxton Ave, a pleasant three-quarter mile walk or bike ride away, straight east down Victoria Ave to Erie.
