"Uppity"

Via TPM, we learn from The Hill what kind of tactics the Republicans are going to use against Obama from here on:

Georgia Republican Rep. Lynn Westmoreland used the racially-tinged term "uppity" to describe Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama Thursday.

"Just from what little I’ve seen of her and Mr. Obama, Sen. Obama, they're a member of an elitist-class individual that thinks that they're uppity," Westmoreland said.

Asked to clarify that he used the word “uppity,” Westmoreland said, “Uppity, yeah.”

We all know what that's code for.

Lynn Westmoreland is the same Republican asshole who co-sponsored a bill to require the display of the Ten Commandments in the House of Reps and the Senate, but could barely name three of them. That's right, this sanctimonious and self-righteous racist prick couldn't name seven of the ten commandments. (Go five minutes into the video below.)
