If you missed the hearings on the Delta Northwest merger

Cincinnati folks are concerned about losing more traffic at the Delta hub.

There seems to be a lot of confusion, first the 'no layoff' claim was applied to 'front line' (customer service) employees, but then it was varyingly applied to 'exectives' and 'management' employees. The final statement from the airline CEOs seemed to imply that only 'headquarters' employees would be consolidated after a merger.
