Time for direct action to help Darfur

Watched frontline's coverage of our collective failure to act in Darfur.
Waiting for the UN or US Government to do something doesn't make sense.

I visited the http://www.savedarfur.org/
web site, and found little in the way of direct consumer actions available.

Direct Action by the consumer is required now.

For example:

1) divest yourself of products from countries not fighting the genocide
Buy books instead of toys from China for christmas.

2) Avoid chinese and sudanese products generally - let their distributors know why

3) Contact potential advertisers (CNN link) in the 2008 olympics - let them know you will be buying their competitors products (pepsi instead of coke, or tap water instead of Dasani), and why
