Dumbass of the Week: John McCain

Yeah, I know it's still early in the week, but media darling John McCain has outdone himself with his dumbassness prompting the good reverend to juggle his posting schedule to bring you an early DOTW, just in time for DLD2 at Mulligan's Hyde Park Pub tonight at 7:30.

So, anyway, going back to the man who'll drive the Straight Talk Express down any twisted road to become president, John McCain thinks that the release of a new Osama bin Laden tape is a sign of success. Are you fucking kidding me, Senator? More than six years after 9/11, OBL is nowhere to be found. His second in command, nowhere to be found. Mullah Omar, nowhere to be found. We are bogged down in a civil war in a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, caused thousands of Iraqis and Americans to die, wasted billions lining the pockets of Halliburton, KBR and Blackwater, lost all credibility on the world stage, and raped human rights in the name of national security. This is success?
