Dumbass of the Week: Burma's Junta

The junta ruling Burma has brutally suppressed the protests by monks and citizens. Thousands were arrested and no one knows how many were killed or injured.

To make things worse, neighbors China and India are wringing their hands. On the one hand, the Chinese government loves the totalitarian Burmese regime with its commie leanings. (Heck, the idea of a despotic government just makes the Chinese Communist Party cream its collective trousers.) On the other hand, India is happy to let the Burmese army kill its people as long as it promises not to shelter separatists fighting the Indian army on the Indo-Burmese border.

And no one gives a flying fuck about the common man in Burma.
