2008 Presidential Democratic Nomination Straw Poll - presented by Drinking Liberally

Drinking Liberally is proud to announce that it will be hosting the first straw poll in Cincinnati for the 2008 Democratic Presidential nomination! The evening will give everyone an opportunity to hear about each of the candidate's positions on key issues. We also hope to gather liberals from all across the city to show support for their favorite candidate.

The poll will take place on Tuesday, May 8th at our usual bar, The Comet on 4579 Hamilton Avenue in Northside. Official festivities will begin at 8:00, but come early at 7:30 to grab yourself a drink and mingle with like minds.

Each candidate will be represented by a speaker, who will speak for 2-3 minutes on that candidate's history, qualifications, and positions. The vote will take place after the speeches, and be announced that night, so you'll know when you leave how the poll comes out.

So come on out on May 8th and show your support for the Democratic ticket!
