From DL member BadMonkey:
An interesting read about the case of Carol Fisher, a Cleveland activist arrested for putting up anti-Bush posters.
Post from Left Of Centrist.
* Two notes from me that I think should have been included; it is true that generally it is a misdemeanor to staple to a telephone pole, but it is rarely enforced. Seems to have been selective in this case due to the nature of the posters. Second, I think that it was incorrect to state that the judge should have recuse himself. I don't think it is usually considered necessary for a judge to recuse himself for party affliation.
