Don't trust those Canadians either, they're sharpening up their hockey skates...

Firedoglake poses what really is a logical follow-up question from the president's speech. If national security is one of the concerns that's driving this, why aren't we doing the same on the Canadian border? I mean it's longer, and one would think that with so much focus on the Mexican border that a terrorist would be more likely to try and sneak in from the north.

I know that there's more on the table than just this issue, but it's a fair question that the administration ought to answer.
