Chris Bowers over at MyDD.com picks up on a snarky comment I made a couple months back concerning Lynn Swann's overblown stature in NFL history, and takes it a step further in pointing out how he's used this fallacy to further his political career. I find it utterly frightening that a man with no political experience (and nothing more than his slightly above average NFL career) is running practically in a dead heat with Ed Rendell, a multi-term mayor of Philadelphia (and a damned good one at that), for the gubernational seat of Pennsylvania.
