The same week that WVXU has its donation drive, WOXY announced that it would offer a premium service for $9.95. Although listeners will still be able to access a low bandwidth stream for free, the WOXY Website indicates that it may become a subscription-only station if enough people sign up in the next 6 weeks.It's a shame that Clear Channel continues to devour our public airwaves while WOXY, one of the best stations in the country, struggles for financial support. However, I am willing to give up three White Mocha Cappucinos a month to keep WOXY alive.
