Bush Threatens To Use His Un-Veto Power

During his Sunday radio address, president Bush said that if he learns of any Democrat who supports him vetoing a bill for a time-table on withdrawal from Iraq, that he would automatically, “un-veto” that bill.

“I’m the decider and I decide when I want to veto and un-veto – not those Democrats”, he said during the address, “I hear the voices and the voices tell me what to do.”

Bush said that he got the idea while playing with his dog Barney. He said that was also around the time that he heard the voices.

A White House spokesperson said that this would be the first time in his two terms as president that he would use his un-veto powers. The White House declined to comment any further.
