You Say You Want An Evolution...

Voters in Kansas aren't backward thinkers. They decided that science is more important than intelligent design when they went to the polls yesterday. Evolution opponents had a majority on the school board before yesterday's election. This has been turned around and now the school board will have a majority of members who believe in teaching the theory of evolution. As you may recall, the same happened in Pennsylvania when their school board members were up for re-election.

In other science related news, 22 major cities around the world decided that global warming is real and are taking action.

It doesn't matter what Fox News and this administration may want us to believe. I think that the majority of people in the United States do understand science and want their children to learn the scientific theories on how life began and want our planet safe so their children can grow up and have a comfortable life of their own.
